Wouter Struyf

Personal background
Graduated as a Master in Biology but always had a love for documenting the world around me. It all started with skating and gradually evolved to surfing and the lifestyle around it. Getting older interest in lifestyle/fashion started to grow so I‘m now trying to evolve to shooting more of that and less action.

Personal style
Yes please! I love people with style! They make this world a more enjoyable place! #styleiseverything

« Style is the answer to everything.
A fresh way to approach a dull or dangerous thing
To do a dull thing with style is preferable to doing a dangerous thing without it
To do a dangerous thing with style is what I call art

Bullfighting can be an art
Boxing can be an art
Loving can be an art
Opening a can of sardines can be an art

Not many have style
Not many can keep style » C. Bukowski

A technical aspect that’s typical for him/her
I know how to fix a flat tyre. I can sew a button to a jacket. Is that technical enough?

Inspiration
I get inspired walking down the street, meeting new people, books, magazine, in a restaurant and yes also on the internet and social media, …. There‘s inspiration everywhere. I’m trying to filter the things I want to hold on to and get rid of the clutter.

What does he/she reflect on once a day
Whether  I ‘m  doing the right things to  become a better version of myself. Am I becoming a better me and by that making the people around me better?

Earlier work
Inspirational. It’s always good to reflect on where you ‘ve been to know (or try to find out) where you want to go.

With whom would he/she like to share an elevator
The person on the other side of this screen. I would love to get to know you and know why you started reading this. And what you like and don’t like of what you’re seeing.
